The inspiration: Music and American Spirit and Patriotism

Sons of ’76 was inspired by a lifelong love of music and a deep appreciation for what it means to be an American. After many years of playing, writing, and living life, I reached a point where I wanted to create something that reflects not just who I am, but what I believe — that people are inherently good, and that music can bring us together.

My history

Jimmy Rains created Sons of ’76 for people who still believe music should make you feel something.

This is Boomer Rock! — new music for old souls.

From highway anthems to reflective ballads, these songs are rooted in life experience, love, loss, hope, freedom, and the enduring spirit of America. No trends. No gimmicks. Just heartfelt rock music written and recorded with authenticity and passion.

Thanks for stopping by, and welcome to the journey.

Leaving a legacy of hope

In the long run, I hope the music of Sons of ’76 leaves something behind that matters. I’m trying to create songs that people can connect with, songs that stay with them and mean something in their lives. If years from now someone hears one of my songs and it brings them comfort, makes them feel proud, or reminds them that there’s still good in people, then I’ve accomplished what I set out to do.

"Made in America is more than just a song. It’s a reflection of pride, resilience, family, faith, patriotism, and the simple things that matter most."
